Port Workers Affected By Background Check Delays

Delays in federal background checks and other newly-instituted screening procedures are leaving thousands of once-productive port workers jobless during the recession, according to a new report on port related employment conditions around the country.

You'd think they would have more efficient means of doing background checks for such an important position.

i think they should e regardless of the position. Background check is very important it is out main way to know more about the particular person. their would be a lot of background search website that would give you a lot of information with regards to a particular person.
